I design and build websites for architects, interior designers, home builders and luxury real estate, from Amsterdam, for clients anywhere. I do the design and I write the code, so what you see in the proposal is what ships.
What I do
Three things, usually together. Flagship websites: bespoke design and a hand-written Next.js build, photography first, live in weeks. Search and generative engine optimization: being found on Google and named by AI assistants. AI assistants: concierges trained on a practice's own material that answer, qualify and book.
The niches are deliberate. Architecture, interiors, building and premium property are visual businesses sold on trust, and their websites fail in the same few ways. Knowing those ways is most of the job.
How I score a website
Before any proposal I score the existing site on three things: design (typography, hierarchy, imagery, layout craft, judged against the norms of that trade, so a bold service-led builder site is judged as a builder site, not as a gallery), content (whether the offer is clear and the work is shown) and speed (Google PageSpeed on mobile). Design counts for half, content for a third, speed for the rest. The score decides whether a new site would actually change anything; a good site gets told so.
The same rubric runs across hundreds of studio, builder and agency sites in the tool I built for it, which is where the numbers in the journal come from.
How the work is done
- One consultation, then a fixed price. No hourly surprises.
- Design and code by the same person, in Next.js, with no theme underneath.
- Your own photography and text, tightened; nothing invented, no stock unless there is truly nothing else.
- Structured data, fast pages and extraction-ready content as standard, not as an add-on.
- Foundation sites live in three to four weeks; larger estates in six to ten.
This site is built the same way: the opening film is 288 hand-sequenced frames drawn on a canvas, the type is chosen not defaulted, and every page is plain HTML underneath.
