Home builders

Web design for home builders.

A homeowner chooses a builder on trust, and trust on a website comes from finished houses, real names and clear next steps. Most builder sites hide the houses under stock banners and a form. I build sites that lead with the work, say plainly what you build and where, and turn a visit into a phone call or a booked site visit.

What a home builder website has to do

Someone planning a new build or a major renovation looks at five builders in an evening. Your site has to answer three things fast: what you build, where you build it, and what it looks like when it is done. So the homepage opens on a finished house, names the areas you serve, shows the kinds of projects you take on, and puts the phone number and a booking button where a thumb can reach them.

Project pages do the selling: the brief, the before, the finished rooms, the timeline, a line from the owner. Reviews appear as they were written. Certifications and memberships sit where a homeowner looks for them, not in a footer.

How I build it

  • Finished work first. Your best house at full width on the homepage, then the next three, then who you are.
  • Built to convert. Phone, booking and a short enquiry form on every page; areas served written out for search.
  • An assistant that answers at night. An AI concierge trained on your site handles "do you build in my area", "what does a kitchen extension cost", "how long does it take", and books the site visit.
  • Fast on a phone. Most of your visitors are on mobile, on a site; pages load in under two seconds.
  • Search built in. Service and area pages, structured data for the business and its reviews, a sitemap, titles written for people.

No WordPress, no theme: I design and code the site in Next.js myself. Foundation sites go live in three to four weeks.

What it costs

A fixed price agreed before we start. Builders with one region and a handful of showcase projects fit the Foundation tier; multi-region companies with service pages for every trade and area choose Elevation. Both are on the investment section of the homepage.

Questions people ask

How long does a home builder website take?
A Foundation site is live in three to four weeks from the day the project photos are in: homepage, services, areas, up to eight projects, reviews and contact. Larger multi-area sites take six to eight weeks.
Will it bring more enquiries?
A site that shows finished work and states clearly what you build and where converts far better than a template with stock photos; typical builder sites convert one to three percent of visitors, well-built ones three to five. The AI assistant answers the questions that otherwise cost you the enquiry.
Can you build service and area pages for SEO?
Yes. Every service (new builds, extensions, kitchens, full renovations) and every area you serve gets its own page with real text, photos and structured data, which is what ranks for 'home builder in [town]'.
Do we need professional photography?
It helps more than anything else on the site. If you do not have it, I will tell you what to shoot with a phone and how, and the site will be laid out to make those photos look their best.
Do you work with builders outside the Netherlands?
Yes. I am in Amsterdam and work with builders in the US, the UK, Australia and across Europe, remotely.
